InfraCo Africa joins IGC Invest Geothermal

Infrastructure development fund, InfraCo Africa is joining the upcoming IGC Invest Geothermal as MW Sponsor. At the event InfraCo Africa, which is part of the multi-lateral Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG), will present its activities and view on financing geothermal projects in Africa. “We are pleased to join IGC Invest Geothermal to talk about our experience on financing geothermal projects with our specific focus on Africa and are looking forward to a lively exchange with industry and representatives from other financial institutions.”, said Tim Jackson, Business Development Manager at InfraCo Africa Limited.

Tim has over 25 years of experience developing power projects and, since 2009, has focused on geothermal projects in Europe and Africa.  He currently manages early stage power project developments for InfraCo Africa where he has been responsible for the investment in Corbetti Geothermal power project in Ethiopia. He will take part at the IGC Invest Geothermal in the Early Stage Investment Panel (Session IV) and also in the Round Table on Blended Finance.
